GS Pescador Sea Trading Corp has signed a power consulting agreement with SolarMD, naming Dr. Andrie Udal, PhD in Energy Economics, as its power consultant.
With 252 kW of demand, Pescador qualifies as a Contestable Customer and a GEOP end-user, so it is free to choose its electricity supplier and buy renewable power. Dr. Udal is authorized to assess, canvass and negotiate with ERC-licensed retail electricity suppliers and rooftop solar PPA providers on the company's behalf.
Over the next 12 months, SolarMD will lead Pescador's retail supplier switch, guide its key power investments, including zero-capex rooftop solar, and audit every monthly bill to verify results.
“Mindanao businesses like Pescador can now choose who supplies their power,” said Dr. Udal. “Our job is to make sure they get the best terms the market can offer.”
