RDEX Food International Phils. Inc., a member of the RD Group of Companies, has made switching to blended power a priority for 2026, with SolarMD leading the switch.
The agreement was sealed with a handshake between the decision makers of SolarMD and RDEX Food International on 9 October 2026.
RDEX Food International's cold storage facilities, shrimp farms and other facilities have a combined capacity of about 1.3 MW. Dr. Andrie Udal, PhD in Mineral and Energy Economics, will lead the power switch within the next 12 months. SolarMD leads the switch to blended power via a licensed retail electricity supplier (RES).
